Course Description:

This course is designed for the students of the Club de Lecture of the MOVEMENT PROGRES ROCHE BOIS.

The course has been adapted to the beneficiaries of the MPRB to complement the learning of the students in the vicinity.

Students will have the opportunity to learn from the videos and the example are explained by the teachers and will be complemented by the facilitator.

The course is divided into 7 lessons and students will have the opportunity to go through the different lectures which are complemented by videos, text lectures and the facilitator will provide the hand out for your class.

  • Lesson 1: Composition Writing

    Session Description:

    This lesson enables students for preparing their final year exams in a more strategic way and allow the students to consider question number 5 & 6 in their final CPE exams.

    The video takes example of the question number 5 of the exam paper. With the example, the students are allowed to implement their learning for the grammar and good understanding of English in practice. Furthermore, the students are given numerous strategies for scoring maximum marks in their final year exams.


  • Lesson 2: Elaborate Tenses

    This lesson enables student to develop and elaborate tenses and is intended questions for number 2 in your paper. Students are required to be very careful and have a good reading strategies to enable them to perform in the classes.

    The video makes good example of how to have a reading strategy and how develop and answer such questions.


  • Lesson 3: Verbs & Preposition

    This lesson enables student to develop and have a better understanding about prepositions and how to be careful about their applications. Interesting examples are used such as the applications of In and On.


  • Lesson 3.2: Simple Future Tenses

    The programme deals with the verb ‘to have’ in the past tense. It looks at the spelling of the verb ‘to have’ in the future tense and their negatives. This lesson ends with a revision of the verb ‘to have’ in the present tense, the past tense and the future tense.
