Course Description:

This course has been designed by the Mauritius College of the Air.

The lessons have been designed and adapted for the beneficiaries of the Movement Progres Roche Bois.

Taking this course, the students will be able to understand and interpret basic concepts in mathematics and how they apply it in their daily life.

  • Lesson 1.1: Addition

    Session Description:

    This lesson explain the importance of the addition and explain how visioning the different numbers allows the children to have a better understanding of the adding numbers. The lesson takes into consideration of the different readily available materials in your daily life for better integrating in into your learning. The lesson also allows you to understand the importance of the bundle of 10.


  • Lesson 1.2: Subtraction

    Session Description:

    This lesson explains subtraction in the basic terms and how subtracting numbers is important.

    The video explain the students using musical rhyme on how subtraction is made easy. Similar to the first lesson, the lesson make use of the bundle of 10.
